I stayed for 2 nights in one of their single rooms. Whilst the room was very small, it was perfectly adequate for my needs. The bed was really comfortable and the shower nice and warm! Hosts were very friendly and breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again

The guest house was a lovely stay. The beds were very comfortable and cosy. The room was a good size. The breakfast was lovely 😋 we loved the coffee too! The breakfast room was calm and relaxing. Guest house is situated very close to Keswick. Able to walk in which is great!

Barry and Claire were first class host. Room very comfortable cozy and lovely. If you get the chance give it a visit

Had a fantastic few days staying at Glendale Guesthouse.Very friendly welcoming hosts. Location was excellent, very quiet, was able to sleep with the window open. Barry cooks a delicious breakfast with quality ingredients and has a lot of local knowledge regarding recommendations for walks, restaurants, pubs etc. Will definitely come again when visiting Keswick.

Room,spotless.Mattress comfortable. Bedding luxurious.Breakfast gorgeous. Can't rate this highly enough.

I stayed at Glendale Guest House for a racing event in Keswick due to the B&B being so well located in the area. The B&B was so cosy and well furnished/decorated, very clean and the owners went above and beyond to ensure my stay was amazing. Especially providing me with a full english the next morning even though I had missed breakfast orders. Would fully recommend and I will be booking again in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay, you have a beautiful B&B.

We stopped at Glendale for our 39th wedding anniversary.Very enjoyable stay. Great breakfast.5 to 10min walk into town centre.Will visit again.

I won’t be deducting any stars for any reason. Lovely clean room, comfy bed, great shower, great breakfast, lovely proprietors. Hopefully Glendale will have a room available when I’m planning my next visit to The Lakes.

When we last stayed at Glendale 2 years ago it was lovely. This time it was still great. Lovely breakfast, hosts a wonderful and we slept like logs. We have booked again already.

So friendly, very comfortable not far to walk to town , Breakfast out of this world, ate so much didn’t need Lunch , will be definitely going back .A great couple who run it , you won’t be disappointed.Thanks for everything.

We found the Glendale Guest House to be very clean, have a pleasant decor and to be in a nice & quiet location whilst being very near the centre of town. Clare & Barry were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were excellent, always exceptionally cooked, fresh and well presented. We would most certainly stay here again, excellent stay, thank you both.

We had a wonderful time staying at Glendale Guesthouse! The hospitality was superb, we loved waking each morning in such a charming location with a tasty breakfast to get the day started. We were also very grateful for the helpful recommendations for where to go and what to do. We very reluctantly departed and can’t wait to plan another trip to Keswick and Glendale Guesthouse!

We had a lovely room, with a large, very comfortable bed. The house is spotless and breakfast was delicious. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. All in all it was great.

Excellent very clean good breakfast

Stayed two nights at the Glendale, my room was spotlessly clean with everything I needed. Fabulous cooked breakfast prepared with good quality fresh ingredients and it was served piping hot on a hot plate which isn’t always the case much to my irritation in a many often more expensive establishments. Furthermore, Barry & Claire were first class hosts, very friendly without being overly obtrusive. All in all, a great B&B, centrally located and excellent value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Glendale to anyone considering a short break in Keswick.

Lovely property and well kept and the best hosts, very friendly.The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The drench shower was spot on and hotter than the sun, as u realise after getting in after your Mrs!The B&B is only a short walk into the centre which is perfect after you’ve enjoyed the local bars and restaurants. Tip - book a table if u want to eat out, can get very busy.Breakfast in the morning was tasty and no small portions either.Thanks again Glendale, we will see u soon.RegardsMatthew & Dounia

Great location, got parked outside the guest house with no problem, just a short walk into Keswick centre. Lovely, clean room with very comfy bed, breakfast was outstanding, owners Barry snd Clare very friendly, we will definitely come back to stay again.

Barry, the host was welcoming from the moment he opened the door. Room was lovely, comfortable bed, clean and pleasant with all the amenities you need for a couple of nights B&B.Breakfast was perfect, enough choices and cooked to your requirements. The Guest House was perfect walking distance into the town centre and to the lake, didn’t use the car for 2 whole days. Would definitely recommend.

Absolute wonderful weekend.Came up from Burnley to meet 7 other bikers..the guest house was lovely.Wonderfully clean and the breakfast was delicious… the owner was so nice and friendly and also very helpful…Absolute gem.Will definitely stay again… loved it!

The rooms are a comfortable size and you're guaranteed a great nights sleep after getting your steps inin the amazing surroundings. Would definitely recommend and stay again when visiting Keswick.

My hosts and the property were one of the best experiences I've had worldwide. Nothing was a problem, the room was quirky as was the building, very clean, modern facilities...and the music taste almost matched the breakfast...you both did good.

Our stay has been wonderful. The room was quiet, very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Furthermore, in the morning they served us an exquisite and very complete breakfast. The owners are very kind and friendly people willing to help you with anything. You can see the love and dedication they put into every detail. Marvelous.

Værelset i tagetagen var OK og rent. Værten er hyggelig og meget hjælpsom med gode råd. Fabelagtig full english breakfast med stempelkaffe og yoghurt med frisk frugt.Det smukke gamle hus ligger i et pænt kvarter i gangafstand fra centrum.

We came to Keswick for a birthday weekend break, the Glendale was clean comfy and the hosts were very friendly and approachable, the breakfast are fantastic tasty and filling for a days walking, will be recommending to family and friends

My stay at the Glendale Guest House was brilliant. The host is very welcoming, polite and brilliant to talk to. The room was well cleaned, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was refreshing. The breakfast filled me up and was cooked perfectly. I will stay again!

Single Room was “cozy” but functional. To be fair I did have luggage for a month’s stay. But was given assistance in getting my oversized baggage to my room.Breakfast was beautiful. I’ve never said this before, but the beans were exceptional, almost to the point of wanting to know which brand/what they were.Actually most everything on the plate was exceptional, but I must mention the beans!!!Oh and the sour dough toast was gorgeous.Thank You Glendale.

Great room for a single occupant with an en-suite. Staff were friendly and the breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Stayed overnight with friends. Rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was first class. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Have stayed here before and will do so again in the future. Highly recommended.

The guesthouse was perfect. The location is great. Five minutes from centre of town. The room was small but perfect for my needs Shower and a kip! The shower was brilliant especially after my 10 mile hike! The room and dining area were really clean and well looked after. As I'd had a couple of beers the night before I wasn't ready to fave a full English breakfast! I asked for a small breakfast and I was catered for accordingly and it was lovely. The couple who run the guesthouse are very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Bedroom and facilities were great, clean, tidy and comfortable. Host very friendly, allowed us extra time to check out when we were running late. Lots of breakfast options, everything was delicious.

Sadly we could only stop for one night. Friendly owners. Clean comfortable room which was tastefully decorated. Lovely breakfast. Easy walk, approximately 7mins, from town centre . The Glendale had a nice cosy feel as soon as you walked in.

Stayed for one night on a work trip to the Lake District. Arrived late evening so checked in over the phone. Had to leave early so missed breakfast but was offered a packed lunch as an alternative, which I kindly accepted. Comfortable bed, slept well, lovely duvet! - was a cold night. Good value stay.

What a lovely Guest House just cant fault it. We had a cosy comfortable spotless room and the owners were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble .A fabulous breakfast with lots of choice that set us up for the day and we will definitely return.

Every year we come to Keswick to do our Christmas shopping, this year we decided to stay over, wish we had done sooner, Glendale house, is beautifully decorated, clean warm and inviting , the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so helpful and kind, will be back again next year

We have stayed at the Glendale on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. This is a well kept and well run B&B close to the town.
